18 Months Old

I cannot believe that our little girl is already that old. It's crazy how fast time flies. She is such a happy little girl that brings sooo much joy to our family. I always ask myself what I did for entertainment before she came along. Molly is always on the go, wanting to "help" "clean em up", explore, crawl in her tent, feed change and put her babies to bed, dance, and of course be mommy's little shadow.

On her 18 month checkup she was in the 22% for height and 1% for weight. She's a little one that can't seem to gain weight. The doctor asked if Molly could say 8 words that we can understand.. If you know Molly you know why I then laughed. I told him that she is speaking pretty well, and even sentences sometimes. He then asked Molly, "can you already say sentences and go potty on the potty?" Molly replied, "A little bit." He and I were both laughing. Everyday she is saying more and more words we didn't even know she had heard before. There are so many funny things that she does I could go on all day, but one of her favorite things is to be "nakey" She does not want to get out of the bath tub and when she does we have to dance, ride on the rocking horse, and then play a game of chase before we manage to get pj's on her little body. This post will be a molly/naked overload and for that i am sorry. But I promise the videos will put a smile on your face!

I can't believe another year has gone by. The last year was so great, our little family of three enjoyed so many wonderful moments. I have a feeling this next year will be even better. :) For the holidays we spent most our time in Idaho with my side of the fam. It was a blast being all together, the cousins have a lot of fun. Molly would wake up every morning at 6:30 and then name off all her cousins, aunts, and uncles, nana, and papa, while I had to convince her that they were all still sleeping. She just couldn't wait to play with them all. I took a lot of pics and videos this year but i'm going to try to only share a few of my favorite. After we got home I realized (as i was looking through the pictures) i did not get one picture of our family together or even of me and ty. SAD. I did get plenty of the little miss though!

Today was a day I hope I will never have to repeat. Molly and I were doing our usual Friday morning things which consist of cleaning the house, lounging, laundry, and just playing. I started to vacuum and Molly was sitting on the couch watching Toy Story. As I got closer to the couch Molly got up on all fours and said, "momma vacuum." The next thing I knew she was on the floor screaming. I picked her up and her whole entire face was BLOOD.... I wanted to die it scared me sooo bad. I noticed it all coming out of her head. I went into panic mode and I started to cry. The blood was coming out so fast and there was so much of it. After ten minutes, a half bag of wipes, and lots of blood later I managed to gather myself and her and head to the doctors office. Sure enough my worst fear, she needed stitches or staples. I said no way on the staples and she ended up with 3 stitches in her pretty little head. She did fairly well, I was a mess when they asked me to hold her down while they stitched. I felt so bad the whole entire time and I still do! Who would have thought a vacuum could cause that much damage. She only fell about a foot, but hit the right spot. After we left the doctors office she kept pointing to her head saying "owie". I know accidents can't always be prevented I just pray I will never have to do it again with a baby. Love you Molly Jane, you were a brave little princess today!

Tonight was one of those nights I am happy to be me. I got to rock Molly to sleep and cuddle for a long time (which never happens). As I was rocking her I started to think how much I love my little family. Ty is gone hunting with the boys in my family for a week, and its just me and the girls. Its only been one night and I miss him already. I am happy to have some mommy/molly time, and having Ty gone helps me realize how much he really means to me. When he gets back i'm sure he'll have some great stories and pics that I will post.

fall is here and we are loving the weather! the last month has flown by. we traveled up to idaho to spend some more time with family, ty went on a "boys harley trip" to jackson, now he is getting ready to go on a week long hunting trip with the boys in my family. its not fun having him gone, but i'm glad he's having fun. molly is growing up so fast the last couple months. she is no longer my little baby. she wants to pee on the potty, feed herself, dress herself, pick out her clothes, and just be a big girl. she has discovered "pretties" "purses" "dancing" and "shopping", her passions in life :). there isn't a dull minute with her she is always on the go and making us laugh. i have been horrible about taking pictures and updating. so here are a few of my favorites from the last month.

Life has been super busy lately, I just had a minor surgery and ty has been working a lot. Molly has just been walking all over the place getting into trouble.. I have a lot of pics to share and hopefully will get it done this week. I also go back to work this week, training for the up coming school year. I decided I was ready to try part time this year, so I will be teaching 4 YEAR OLDS. YA i'm a little nervous but, it will be fun.

Molly's birthday was on the 14th, I can't believe how fast time flies. The past year has been the best year of our lives. Tyler and I catch ourselves staring at her everyday, asking each other how we got so lucky to have her in our family. She truly is a special little angel, that can make anyone smile no matter what is going on in your day! The day of her birthday we took some friends to the petting zoo at Thanksgiving point, Molly wasn't to excited about the pony ride or any of the animals.. But enjoyed the tractor ride.

That weekend we had her birthday party. We were able to have most my family here and celebrate with them, ty's family and good friends. It was a blast! Molly loved having her friends there, opening presents, and as you can tell from the pictures EATING HER CAKE! That's my daughter :) Thanks everyone for coming and for celebrating..

Lake Powell #2

This year we got to head down to Powell on the fourth of July! It was a fun way to celebrate.Every moment in Powell is fun and exciting. We love being down there, it is Ty and I's second home. Molly also has learned to love it, she is our little fishy that can't get enough of the water and the boat. She loves the wind blowing in her face when we drive fast on the boat. Thanks everyone for the awesome trip!

molly and i have been very busy lately. it started with a week long trip to idaho where we got to visit with family, have a wonderful reunion with friends, and i also had an amazing opportunity to do a dear friends (kristi) temple work. she passed away ten years ago. we had a lot of fun with my family but missed ty. the reunion with friends was so much fun. we even went to a karaoke place and sang our hearts out till midnight. i have so many pictures to share, but will just show some main high lights.when we returned from idaho we had a family week with the taylor side (ty's side) of the family. lagoon, bbq's, and fun time together!

today molly and i are off to st. george for a week with the girls and kids in my family. it will be fun playing with everyone for a week, but again we will miss ty. but when we return we will get to spend a week together in lake Powell. like i said it is one busy fun summer!

We have been so busy lately between Powell, Idaho, and Montana. I Love

that summer has started even though June is just completely full of friends, family, and traveling,

i'm positive we will find some R&R time at the pool!

I have soo many pictures I will try not to overload but we'll start with Lake Powell

After Lake Powell we headed up to Idaho for memorial weekend. We spent a couple days in Idaho and then traveled with my parents to Montana,where my dad had a roping.. It was in the middle of no where, COLD, rainy, muddy,but so much fun. Molly waved at every horse that walked past. And there were a lot of horses!. She also started calling my mom "Nana" its the cutest thing ever, she amazes us every day with the new words she can say. She has been a trooper with all the traveling and sleeping in different places, long rides in the car and never one complaint from my little girl. She is happy wherever shes goes.

And the Montana pictures are on my bloggie, so I will have to post them later..

This year we stayed home celebrated my birthday with good friends and family (IM 28 AHH); and had a wonderful Easter at the Cook's house. Best Friends

Molly and her cousin Hallie are only 4 weeks apart and have a lot of fun playing together. And of course little Drew is always right there helping the play :) It's a lot of fun to have so many babies close to the same age on both sides of the family. Molly has also become a big daddy's girl!

Do I dare say the word. Today was such a lovely day that Molly, Bella and I decided to try and spend as much time as we could outside. Molly is at a fun stage where she just loves to sit and play with her toys (mostly her pink lap top) the best $12 I've ever spent on her yet. Some days I wish she was crawling around, other like today I'm happy she can just stay in one spot while I snap pictures. She is getting very close to crawling, and has now conquered standing herself up to things. Then there is my naughty toddler Bella. She has more spring fever than I do. When we got outside today she acted as though she had never been on a leash before.. Most days I feel like she is harder to entertain than Molly. Once summer comes I have a feeling us 3 will be outside a lot. OH THE POOL :)

This week has been an emotional roller coaster for the Ferney family. On Monday my Grandpa (dad's dad) was found by his sweet wife Nita (my grandma died 2 years ago) unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital where he then laid in a comma, no one knowing what was going to happen. There was a scare of brain damage due to be unconscious, a scare of another heart attache, and a definite fear of death. We had all thought this was it, we had prepared to go to Idaho and attend the funeral of my Grandpa. After a lot of work, cooling down his body then warming his body back up, tears and tears, HE WOKE UP! The doctors and my family were in complete shock. He was awake and talking. He knew where he was, who he was, and who everyone was. He had even asked my dad what he was doing there because he was supposed to be in Arizona. He is now stable and last I had heard he was sitting up eating some dinner. Now that is what I call tough. To go from death to eating dinner in a day is just something that I believe is out of our and the doctors hands. He just wasn't ready to go. I don't know if we are in the clear just yet but I do know that with faith, prayer, and fasting miracles can and do happen! I am so thankful to have the knowledge of the gospel and knowing that we have our heavenly father watching over us at all times. That he does hear and answer our prayers. I'm sure my Grandpa is excited to be reunited with my Grandma again and to return to his heavenly father but I just don't think he was ready quite yet. He has a lot more fires to build, places to camp, and fish to catch before he is ready. We love you Grandpa and are so happy you have come back to us....

Molly and I had the chance to head on down to sunny California with our good friends

6 Months Old

I can't believe Molly is half a year old today. It honestly feels like just yesterday we were in the hospital holding her for the first time. She has been such a wonderful baby and brought a lot of joy and happiness to our lives. We couldn't have asked for a better baby. Here are some fact about Molly:

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday break..I can't believe its 2011, so crazy. This year has been the best yet and it just flew by. Christmas was awesome it was our year to spend it with Ty's side of the family. We had a great time with the fam but missed a lot of you this year! Christmas morning was so special watching Molly her first Christmas. She loved playing with the wrapping paper and chewing on the boxes.

After Christmas I headed up to Idaho to spend some time with my family and to freeze! It was sooo cold, but soo much fun to just play with my nieces, nephew, and sister every day. Ty came up on Thursday and went skiing with the rest of the fam on Friday where he go to experience frost bite for the first time. :)

Saturday was an extra special day we celebrated Bailee's baptism, Kate's blessing, and Nichole's birthday. It was a big day! I am so thankful for the girls in that family. I love you all so much.

(Ann we were really missing you and the boys. Can't wait to see you again!)

CHRISTMAS

Tonight is my extended family Christmas Party at my parents house.

I'm sad to be missing it right now. So I thought I would share what I'm missing out on:

Everyone catching up and sharing stories of the last year
Eating lamb/ham/ or whatever kind of meat
Eating until your stomach is completely full and then eating more
Sitting at the "kids" table wishing one day I could eat at the adult table
Realizing the kids table is WAY cooler than the adult table
Watching all the great grand kids bang their plates or knives on the table just excited to open presents
Watching my mom and grandma clean up after everyone as they always do (yes I said Watching)
Getting the kids ready for the big nativity scene

It used to be us getting ready for the big scene, scraping together costumes. But we have handed that down to all the great grand kids and my mom now has professional costumes :)

Listening to Grandpa read the story out of the bible
Taking pictures of all the adorable kids in their costumes. (or of myself being the ass, and Max being the reindeer....)
Singing songs around the tree, feeling the love our the whole family and remembering the true reason for the season
Opening Presents!!!!
Saying good bye to the family once again

Since I can remember we have gone to my grandma's house for Christmas Eve. Doing each of these things every year. Each child used to have to sing or do some kind of act to open presents. I would always sing a solo and I have no clue why because I was horrible! The boys would sing a song about a hay penny. The older girls would do their duets to "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas" and the younger kids would try and sing but were always too shy. My Grandma is amazing. She seriously went crazy with these parties. Making sure it was the time our our lives; as it always was. I'm so thankful she had us do these things every year. We hated it on the outside, but deep down loved every second of it. And now looking back and not being able to be there I wish more than anything I could be dressed up singing right now.

After the party was all said and done we would go home and open our Christmas pj's from our parents. Oh the matching pj's :) Then gather around to watch the Griswald Christmas Vacation or the Christmas Story.

Thanks family for helping me feel the chirstmas spirit every year!

Now this year I have my own little family to take care of.
Let's hope I can make it as fun for them as my mom and Grandma did for me!

Thanksgiving 2010

This Year we had Thanksgiving in Idaho with my family. It was cold and snowy!

But I'm so glad the whole family was able to be there.

My mom and dad had their hands and house full!

It was fun to have the babies all together for the first time. Our cute little Kate is so

tiny and sweet, at 3 weeks she weighs a whole 5.11 lbs.

Austin and Molly had a lot of fun with each other.

They are so opposite Aussy likes to be loud all day long! And Molly

is just quiet in every way.

We ate, played, laughed, slept, ate more, and stayed warm inside.

Tyler and I did manage to sneak outside for 5 minutes

WELCOME BABY KATE

Kate Olivia Jeppesen was born November 11, 2010

Weighing in at 5.5lbs and 19 inches.

Nichole did great, and so did daddy Joe.

Molly and I went to Idaho the night before Kate was born. We helped take

care of Bailee and Ella (my nieces). I was so happy to be there and welcome

Kate to the world. She is so cute and so tiny. Long like her daddy

and tiny like her mommy. We love you Kate!
Oh and Molly had her ears pierced while we were in Idaho!

Molly also turned 4 MOTHS OLD! I can't believe how big she is getting.

She is still such a good baby, sleeping through the night,

laughing, playing, and now eating cereal.

her crib and she lies in bed with us and just talks.

She loves to lay with us and grab our faces, especially daddy's.

The last month has just flown by. I can't believe Christmas is so close.

A lot has happened the last month. We will start with the boys trip, my dad took all the guys

minus Joe (he was digging potatoes) up to the ranch for a hunt. In order to go on the hunt

you had to grow a beard and I wasn't too fond of that idea.

They had a great time, and I'm very proud of my hubby he came home with the largest buck

this year. He will never win biggest beard!

While he was hunting I went up and stayed in Idaho with my mom and sister.

I love being able to go home and see them and Molly loves to spend time with

her grandma.

This last week we lost a dear sweet woman! Tyler's grandma passed away.

Betty you will be missed, and remembered every time we do a little dance!

Now for some Molly updates. She is 16 weeks and growing like a week.

She loves to sit up in her bumbo and talk and drool at her flower rattle.

She is laughing and giggling a lot more and happy most of the time unless

she realizes that mom is not around. She has kinda turned into a mommas girl.

She loves to fall asleep with the blanket over her face and her hand holding tight to

my hair. If my hair isn't there if will find something to grab.

Molly loves morning time, every morning she wakes up with a big

grin on her face and those bright big eyes staring up at us.

I can't believe how fast she is growing up. But still loving every moment with her.

We had so much fun up at the cabin in Sundance with the family. It was nice and

relaxing to watch conference up there as well as enjoy the beautiful outdoors.

When we got home Tyler, Molly and I were just hangin out on the couch watching

Molly drool away so we put a burp cloth up to her and she thought it was pretty funny!

We were also trying to block her from sucking on her fists her new favorite thing.

She got one!

Molly is getting so big! We went to the doctor today and she now weighs 11 lbs. My little penut is growing...

We have had a great month she is one happy girl. She is now sleeping through the night and wakes up in the morning with smiles and giggles. She loves to just sit and talk she thinks everything her mommy and daddy say is funny. She has also turned into a momma's girl which is completely fine with me.

We recently got back from St. George we went down for her cousins Austin's blessing. Austin is the cutest little guy he laughs and smiles a whole lot. Molly loves to spend time with him. She also got to spend a lot of time with her Grandma and Crapa (Grandpa) Ferney. She went swimming for the first time and loved it. Tyler and I are enjoying parenting it really is the deffinition of happiness. Having a family is more wonderful then I ever would have imagined it to be.

Tyler is keeping busy with work, softball, gaming :), and spending time with his girls. I am working 6 hours a week and subbing when I can. It's nice to spend time at home with Molly.

Labor Day Weekend

What a great week it was! Tyler, Molly and I just got back from our first Powell trip as a family. It was a blast like it always is. A little different with Molly, playing isn't as easy when I had to keep drying off to nurse. The weather was perfect, the food was delicious, and the lake was glass until Friday (the day we left). When we arrived home friday night we were greeted by the Ferney side of the family. They had all come down for the weekend for Molly's blessing (expect Jesse, Kim and Peyt) we missed you! It was a lot of fun to once again be surrounded by both of our families and to feel the love they have for us and for Molly.

The blessing was fabulous Tyler did an amazing job! And Molly was an angel the whole time during the blessing, she didn't make a peep :). Thanks everyone for coming we are so happy to have shared that day with a lot of family and friends. Molly is one loved little girl. She looked so beautiful in her blessing dress that her Great-Grandma Raymond had picked out for her and her blessing blanket that Great-Grandma Lacy made for her.

I didn't do the best job at taking pictures in Lake Powell, and little Molly never wanted out of her chair. She loves her chair!

good golly miss molly......

My baby girl is growing up so fast I can't believe it. She will be 6 weeks on Wednesday and the time has flown by. Molly is one happy baby Tyler and I have been very lucky to have such a sweet daughter. She wakes up once throughout the night and is still nursing like a champ. On Sunday she weighed 8.6 oz so she has gained weight, but still just my little peanut. I love being at home with her it's so great! I never imagined the love I have for her could be this strong.

She started smiling on August 16 and has not stopped she even slips in a giggle once in a while. She loves to be talked to, especially by her daddy...

We are blessing her on September 5th the day after we get back from Molly's first Lake Powell trip. We are so excited to finally be going and to take her!

One Month Old

Today my sweet baby girl is 4 weeks old. It's amazing how fast time flies by. We just returned home from her first trip to Idaho where she got to hang out with all of our family. Molly also had her first photo session (thanks Melissa) and sorry about all the poop :). We had a lot of fun hanging out with the whole family. We went boating, had family picutres and just kept eachother company. Tyler spend a lot of time golfing with the guys. Luckily the weather wan't too bad that we got to spend time outside and even managed to squeeze in family pictures between storms. After the pictures and all the rain the kids decided to go out and play on the mary-go-round. But let me explain what they call the mary-go-round; my dad has a horse walker that spins in cirlces and the kids think its the funnest thing in the world to ride! ONLY IN IDAHO. It's so much fun for all of us to get together now that we all have kids. I love watching my nieces and nephews with Molly, they are so sweet and love her so much! Molly and Austin are only 2 weeks apart and yet so different, he is all boy and Molly is a total girly girl. We can't wait for Nichole's baby girl due in November. Molly's first BOATING trip!

Yes my little girl is growing up :) The other day I was dying

sitting inside the house we needed to get out!

So my awesome husbanda agreed to take us out on the boat for the evening.

Molly was so good, no crying, whining, fussing, nothing

but some poopy diapers!

The water was so nice and the weather was a little cloudy

so it was perfect. But Utah Lake never stays that way

within minutes the wind picked up and

the waves were getting bigger. I will admit I got a little worried.

But we made it back safely and Molly is

ready to go again!

It all started the morning of July 14, Tyler and I were up and ready to head to the hospital around 7:00. When we arrived both our hearts started pounding and we knew THIS WAS IT. The doc came in and broke my water and hooked me up to patocin (not sure how to spell) by 8:00 and contractions were already going. My mom made it there around noon and so did Tyler's parents. I made it quite a while without the epidural I wanted to see how it felt, by the time I had the full dose of patocin I was ready for it! I think that was the part I was most scared of; the thought of something going into my spine. AHHH I was already dilated to a 3 and by 2:00 I was only a 5. It felt like forever around 3:00 I was at a 7 and the doctor said about 3 more hours until GO time. I was trying to pass the time by texting and talking on my phone :) So if ya got a crazy text sorry but it did help. And poor Ty he didn't stop looking at the machines watching my contractions and the babies heart rate, she did have a couple ups and downs but they figured out that when the doc rolled me on my right side the babies heart rate was better. I have to admit it was great having my mommy there she knew more than any of the nurses. By 4:30 I felt different, I could feel major pressure and for those of you who have had babies you know that feeling. My father in law went out and told the nurse I felt like I needed to push, she came in and by 5:00 I was pushing, 19 minutes later Molly came into the world.

We were so happy, excited, emotional I thought everything was perfect. Until she was not crying or breathing. The stupid nurse that took her over to the table to get her to breath had to clue what she was doing, so my mom stepped in and gave her a "suggestion" and the nurse asked my mom to move away. My doctor stood up and was on the same page as my mom telling the nurse what to do. By then the nurse had called CODE BLUE! There I was scared, crying and I hear CODE BLUE in room 104. 15 nurses and docs ran into my room within minutes she was fine and breathing. Thanks to my amazing husband who held my hand through the whole thing telling me she was fine I was able to make it through the whole drama. My mom kept assuring us everything was ok. Thank heavens for her!

Tyler then brought our sweet angel over to me for the first time, I couldn't believe how perfect she was. Beautiful in every way. I hope I never forget those feelings of holding Molly for the first time, the feeling of love and peace that was in the room that day. Holding someone so innocent and pure.We were happy to have shared that moment with my mom and my in-laws.

Molly was wide awake her big eyes just looking up and her mommy and daddy. We then had all our wonderful visitors that came to welcome Molly into the world. We stayed at the hospital for 2 nights and I of course didn't sleep, I couldn't all I wanted to do was stare at my baby girl. I wouldn't even let the nurses take her to the nursury I just wanted her by my side.

When we got home we arrived to all of our wonderful family having the Cooks and all the Ferneys around was awesome. I loved that everyone was here to meet her. Andrea and Brad were even able to come up and introduce Austin to everyone. Molly got to meet her whole family it was so wonderful. My mom stayed with us for a week and did more to help out that I could have ever asked for, I only hope I can be that good of a mother! There were a lot of tears when she left; thanks mom Love ya!

Here it is almost 2 weeks later and everything is great. Molly is such a sweet baby (for now) she is always content she has been upset once and it was because of a belly ache. She only wakes up once during the night and she is a great little eater :). Tyler and I are so happy we love all the change that has occurred in our lives. Bella is doing great too in case anyone was wondering she is a little jealous and ignores the baby for the most part. Now that I have shared our long story I feel like I left out so much but I wanted to share what I could. Molly is our angel and we are so lucky that she picked to come to our family! It's amazing how much love you can have for someone you've only known for a couple of days. WE LOVE YOU MOLLY!

I need to give a shout out to my amazing hubby! In the mix of all this

he had a birthday! So happy birthday Bus, we love you so much. Thanks for helping

and already being the best daddy and example for our baby girl!

LET SUMMER BEGIN

I am officially done with work until the fall. It is a bittersweet thing knowing I am done. Weird thinking I will no longer be waking up to get ready for work. I will be waking up to my sweet little girl.

3 more weeks till Molly arrives. Until then it's pool time, "nesting time", boating, more pool, me time, sleeping, and enjoying the last few weeks of just me and Tyler....

Here it is one month away from meeting our little angel. We are so excited it's unreal. I think I spend more time in her room then anywhere else. Tyler is going to get the nursery all ready for her, we are adding some bead board, a paint job, and then of course some cute decor here and there. I will post more pictures once it is finished. As for me I am feeling better than ever.

Over Memorial weekend we went camping with some friends and I even went on a hike :) although I did make Tyler bring me a pillowtop single matress to put in the tent. But I slept like a baby. We are both keeping busy with work, finishing the basement, and getting everything ready for a baby. I only have a week left of work and it's so weird to think that i'm done working full time. A full time mommy is going to be the best job ever. One month I CAN MAKE IT!

Spring Time

I am so happy it is finally warm outside! There is something about that wonderful sunshine that can just put me in the best mood ever. We love being outdoors and we're trying to get as much stuff in before the baby comes. We have already been up the canyon twice to enjoy the weather and took a trip to St. George. Now if I can only get a couple camping/boating trips in :). Everyone has been asking for a belly picture and to be honest it probably is not going to happen. Tyler and I had a wonderful experience this week that I thought I would share. We were able to be sealed in in the Salt Lake Temple on Wednesday, with all our closest family and friends there it was a day to remember. It's a day we have been looking forward to, a day that words cannot describe, a day that will forever be remembered. Thank you to all those who were able to be there with us. It is because of all of you and the wonderful love and friendships we are so lucky to have that has helped us on our journey. And to my husband; I love you more than ever I'm so lucky to have you as my husband and eternal copanion. You are my rock, my better half, my bestfriend, and my everything. I'm so excited for you to become a daddy :) I love you Bus!
As for baby, she is doing great. You can tell she is in there (oh the joys of growing large) and she kicks and spins every time I sit down. As for names we are still loving Molly Jane, Tyler dosen't share his opinion too much but once we see her i'm sure her name will come to us. 3 more months until we get to meet her and we can't wait. I think Bella is even getting excited to be a big sister.... I have been feeling much better, I did pass one more kidney stone but it wasn't as bad as the first couple. I keep telling myself my body is just preparing me for labor. But can you really be prepared for labor? Thanks again to the family and friends that were there with us, and to those who were not you've all helped influence us!

Our Baby Girl

Say hello to baby girl Cook. She is growing bigger and stronger every day. This picture was taken at my 20 week appointment, there were a lot of cute pics but I decided to only use one. She is kicking and turing all day long in my belly and it's the greatest feeling ever! I am finally feeling better and LOVING food :). I never thought I would get past the sickness and throwing up but it's amazing how much better I feel. The belly is growing!!! We have the crib, bedding, and names picked out. We are so excited for her to arrive, now if the next 4 months could just fly by.
It's fun being pregnant with my sister Andrea who is due THE SAME DAY as me. She found out she's having a little boy, who will just be best friends with our little girl. I never imagined how different I would feel while being pregnant, or the love I would have for the little one before she is even born.
Tyler and I have a lot planned for the next couple months so I will do better at updating. And maybe I will do a belly picture the next post.

Pregnancy

I am now just over 13 weeks and feeling better each day. I was actually starting to think this pregnancy stuff wasn't so bad... Until I woke up this morning. I woke up with the worst pain in my side, I wasn't sure what it was. Made some calls decided maybe gas, or kidney infection. Me being the stubborn person I am I went to school thinking it would maybe go away. NOPE within 30 minutes I was driving myself to the Hospital, pulled over to throw up and pass out. Tyler had to come and pick me up :) I have the best hubby ever.... After a 10 min drive that felt like 60 we made it to the hospital where I was admited, tested, and diagnosed with KIDNEY STONES w/ KIDNEY INFECTIONS. Talk about a rough day. The baby is ok, it was actually just hanging out sucking its thumb during the ultra sound. We also think I passed one or part of a stone while in the hospital. The pain is better, I am home just anxiously waiting for the pain to get worse or it to go away. The things we do for kids...
Long story short I feel better and can't wait to get the next 6 months out of the way and have the little bundle of joy in my arms.. Ty and I will find out soon what we are having; and maybe then will I post a belly picture. Let's hope and pray I make it through the night in peace :)

Home for the Holdays!

Tyler and I just got back from spending the week up in Idaho. It was filled with: excitement, presents, food, treats, freezing temperatures, live nativity scene, rock band, more food, horse riding, skiing, throwing up (thanks baby), family, and lots of fun.

I love going up to Idaho and being able to see most of my extended family; and getting together with most of my highschool friends!

Christmas eve we all stayed the night at Mom and Dad's so that made Christmas morning awesome watching my nieces and nephews wake up to presents from Santa and going crazy opening the rest of their presents. It's crazy to think that next year we will be having our own little baby to buy fun presents for.SO EXCITING...by the way I'm due July 20th

On Saturday we drove back to Utah and straight up to the cabin in Sundance to meet up with Ty's family and Bella. Even though the temperatures up there were not any warmer, we still had a blast playing outside and making the perfect CRAZY sledding hill! It was an awesome Christmas we are lucky to have spent time with both of our families! Thanks for all the fun memories, we love you all so much...

Holidays

I hope everyone had a fabulous Turkey Day! I love this time of year, the snow begins to fall and the stores are filled with lots and lots of Christmas decor. If this feeling could stay all year long it would just be fantastic.

Tyler and I spent Thanksgiving with the Cooks this year, it was great. The food, the company, and the entertainment (the siblings) :). It's always a good time when we get together.

We were lucky to see my parents on Wednesday; they were on their way to Andrea's down in St. George. They stopped to say hi and to catch up on the new exciting things in our lives ;)....It was the in-law year for Thanksgiving, but that just means we get to have a cold white Christmas up in Idaho.

I can't believe the Christmas count down is already on! WOW now i just need to get a tree to put all my decorations on. Anyone know of a really good deal on one? I missed all the great sales on black Friday. I wasn't feeling the greatest so I stayed home most of the day. Tyler had fun though!

HALLOWEEN FUN!

Friday night Tyler and I got together with some friends over at the Zurchers house.

We had fun games, good food, tasty treats, a good scare, and no better way to end a party then

at 3:00 a.m. We are lucky to live in a neighborhood with such fun/awesome people.

After a couple games, we got some unexpected company... a little mouse decided to join

the party. Within seconds there were 18 people up on chairs hiding from a mouse :)

FALL

It has happened! I am finally excited for fall. After a short cold trip to Idaho I am ready for the cold. I'm actually going to dare say that i'm excited for winter. Actually I think i'm just excited for Christmas.. Its always a blast when we go home, we love to hang out with the fam. Tyler got to go shoot somes ducks with my dad and brother, while me, nichole, and my mom helped clean my grandmas house. Poor grammy just had a full knee replacement.. She is strong though!
We all gathered for a beautiful sunday dinner while enjoying great company and great words of wisdom from conference. I love conference. We had a suprise guest at dinner, my Grandpa Ferney has decided to get married. My Grandma passed away in January, we were all a little shocked to hear that he was getting married so quick, but after seeing them together it was a little easier to accept. It was fun seeing a couple of that age, so happy and in love. I'm happy that my dear Grandpa (who was so good to take care of my grandma that last couple years) can now enjoy life again and not be alone. We love you Grandpa and are very happy for you and Nita.
As for the weather, I hope everyone is staying safe and warm. Halloween is coming, then comes the icy roads..

New beginings and early endings

This last week has been full off sorrow and happiness.. My family lost a dear cousin to Muscular Dystrophy, then Monday Tyler's Uncle was killed in a car wreck. So unexpected and so early for the both of them. We love our families dearly and are so happy to have the knowledge and understanding of God's plan for us. It always brings some comfort in situations like this.

On a happy note we got to see our beautiful cousin Heidi married yesterday to an awesome guy named Sam Watts. We are excited and so happy for them!
Saturday we get to watch 2 of our closest friend marry each other. Brooke & Nick YAH!!!!!!! Love you both and can't wait for the wedding!

With all the things that have been happening the last week, it's nice to just sit back and enjoy the time with each other, our families and friends. They have made us who we are. Thanks everyone!

The first week of school is always a little crazy, getting the students used to all the rules, procedures and just being back to school all day. But it is all worth it, at the end of the day when they are still able to say I love you Mrs. Cook, I get excited for the next day and can't wait to see what questions they have and what things they have to tell me. Honestly, what other job can you be silly, corny, and goofy and get paid for it? It's going to be a great year!

Tyler and I have now been married for one year(tomorrow). We can't believe how time flies. It seems like just yesterday we were up at Red Butte Gardens starting out on the wonderful journey called life..
Some highlights of the year

We adopted Bella
Moved into our new and first house together
First everything, as a married couple (holidays)
Hawaii
Camping in Idaho
Our first Rage (long story..thanks Bells for coming)
Lake Powell
Gaining new friends and a wonderful neighborhood
Growing together as Mr & Mrs Cook
Preparing to start a family

We have been so lucky to have had such a wonderful first year, I know that it will only continue to get better. They say the first year is the hardest, well i say bull. It was cake! Maybe that's because I married the most easy going husband ever. Ty thank you! As for the next year, i'm sure we'll have just as much fun as we did this one. With lots of fun surprises and twists. We are working towards being sealed the the LDS temple this year, as well as starting our family.
Thank you to all those who have had a part in our lives.
Thank you Tyler for being the man, husband, companion, and example for me in my life.
I love you.

We just returned from another AWESOME trip to powell. This trip was with the Taylor side. We had about 35 out of 40 people there! It was a lot of fun, we missed those who could make it. I will have to post some videos we got of grandparents going down the slide and about 17 people going head first down in about 15 seconds. Lots of fun, food, sun, laughing,double sliding (mandi) and hardly any sleep! That's the way it should be! Thanks everyone for all the awesome memories and thanks Grandma and Grandpa for everything we will never forget Lake Powell 2009!... Love you all.

Happy Birthday Ty!

On July 22, an amazing thing happened.. My husband was born. Tyler John Cook is wonderful, caring, loving, sweet, sexy, handsome, positive man. . I have never met anyone with a attitude like his. Nothing gets himdown, he is always happy and looking for the best in everyone and every situation.
I love my husband so much and can't wait to see what the future has in store for us. I know he will be a great Dad and that we will have a happy life together.
Bus, thank you for everything! I love you babe...

For Ty's birthday I took him up to Park City for a surprise weekend. We had a lot of fun at the park riding rides, watching people, and just being together. We had to celebrate this weekend because we leave to Lake Powell the day before his birthday.

We just got back from a great trip with the Cook family. We had so much fun, I wish we could share it with everyone. Hopefully the pictures show at least half the fun. Thanks Cook's for all the fun memories. Tyler and I love every second down in Powell, even if we are sunburned. Which we did pretty good not burning this year, if only Jordan could say the same :). The weather was perfect, and only one storm. But storms in Lake Powell are a lot of fun. So here are some of the highlights of the trip.. Oh and I can't forget to add that most all the guys shaved their hair into MOHAWKS! lol

I swear Tyler and I wait a whole year for this. Our first trip to Lake Powell for the summer and we are sooo excited. It's the first time on the new house boat, and our official first time being married. I think i'm just excited to get out of the rain, it has rained for 2 weeks straight here in Utah.
We are also ready for a nice break; after Bella had surgery on Tuesday we were sleep deprived, and working our tails off making sure she was ok. I know weird because she is a dog but she is half human ya know :). She was really struggling for the first 2 days, but then she I took her off her sedative and it's amazing how fast she feels better.
Last night we had a awesome night at the cabin with some friends in our neighborhood. We had a blast, playing games, eating, and talking till about 3:00 in the morning! Ty's cabin is up in Sundance. It's so close but yet it feels so far away when we go up there. It was very green, and wet. So much fun! Thanks everyone for coming...
I wish all the wonderful fathers out there a Happy Fathers Day! And a special one to my awesome Dad and Father in law. I love them both so much! It was one thing to grow up being a daddy's girl, being so close with my dad, and now to have 2 wonderful "dads" in my life.... I couldn't ask for more. Love you...

Now that school is out and I have a lot of time on my hands I'm going to try and keep busy by making jewelry. Tuesdays

Every Tuesday Tyler leaves and plays ball with friends from 6-midnight. A long time I know. He starts early, works out, then plays. So every Tuesday I stay at home with Bella. Tonight I was extremely bored, thought about going to the gym and instead sat and laughed at Bell while she barked at me for not playing with her. She honestly whines if you aren't looking at her, petting her, or just giving her any kind of attention every 5 minutes or so. It was then I realized it is a good thing I have her or else my Tuesdays would be REALLY boring.

Question: Does anyone know how to get gum out of jeans and dress pants? Yes that's right, not just a piece of gum a WHOLE PACK of gum.

This is the second time in one month that my sweet hubby has forgot to clear his pockets. First chap stick which you can't get out a shirts, but I can replace the shirts. Now 2 weeks later gum. Of course it had to happen when my most expensive pair of jeans were in the wash. All I can do is laugh now and try to figure out how to save 4 pairs of dress pants and my fav pair of jeans..

I had a crazy experience this weekend. The last month I have had this tooth just killing me. I ignored it for as long as I could, Tyler and I went to the baseball game Friday night and I was to the point where I couldn't even close my mouth. Saturday comes my friend Tanya and I were laying out at the pool when she decides we will go to her office (she works at a dentist office) take and x-ray and figure out what is going on. Long story short I had a huge abscess under my tooth we just weren't sure why. Soooo that night at 8:30 I left a movie went to the office and had my tooth REMOVED yes removed. It turns out that tooth had fractured down in the root and the only way to fix it was to get rid of it. SO PAINFUL, now here I sit without a tooth hahaha. I have to wait 3months for my gums and jaw to heal then get a replacement. Crazy crazy. At least it is on the bottom in the back, I have always had really healthy teeth. It was no surprise that something crazy would happen though :)

Memorial Weekend

Over memorial weekend Tyler and I had the opportunity to drive 8 hours over to my dads ranch (which is just lots and lots of land). We met up with the fam, with exception of the Harkers who we missed! It was beautiful out there, no one for miles just us and the bears, deer, elk, coyotes, wolves,rattle snakes, fish, and bugs! Tyler and I even sent up a tent and slept in that, Bella wasn't too fond of it the first night she wanted to sleep on my cot with me. By the last night she was shivering, exhausted and ready to go home! We went on 4 wheeler rides, fishing, hikes, and enjoyed just being outdoors with my family. It was nice to come home, but always hard to say good bye to my family. We are lucky to have such wonderful families who live so close to us. Thanks mom and dad for such a fun weekend!

As you all know Ty and I love the warm weather! I am now counting down the days till summer officially starts for me! This summer is going to be awesome, I'm actually not working and going to enjoy every minute it. It's already started out great; we have had campfires, barbecues, cabin trips, and boating of course. Tyler and I decided we are also going to try and finish our basement as one of our projects. As a personal project for myself, I am going to keep "beading"! My friend and I have learned how to make the bumbles watches, we have so much fun doing it. So if anyone wants one just let me know the colors and I will make it for a lot cheaper then the name brand ones.
4 more weeks! Oh baby...........

Yesterday was a great day! We took out the boat for the first time of the year, and what a great day.. We even got in the water. I will admit it took my breath away and I screamed like a little girl when I fell in, but it's all worth it. We have so much fun just sitting on the boat chillin, listening to music, enjoying each others company. Now we are just excited for summer to arrive.

IM 26!!! AHHH!!! I have decided I really enjoy my birthday! I had a lot of fun this year, I had like 60 kids sing happy birthday too me, we got all our friends together for a bon-fire, and it was wonderful weather! What more could you ask for? Ty and I celebrated tuesday with friends by heading up the canyon. Its amazing that we only live 15 minutes away from such a beautiful place. We decided we have to start taking advantage of the mountains more. Last night we had a night to ourselves, he even went shopping with me it was great! He did awesome this year with presents, I'm usually so nosy and try to figure out what he's getting me. Not this year. He totally surprised me. Thanks babe.

Our trip to St. George was a blast! We shopped, ate, had fun with the fam, hung out with Ann, Brad, and Logan, and even threw Logan a mini Bday party. Easter was also fun, we dyed eggs Saturday night then went on a nice relaxing hike. Here are a few of the fun photos.

SPRING BREAK

Spring Break officially started for me on Monday. School is out! Thank goodness my students needed a break more than I did. The week before they had their SAT's which can get stressful.
Of course we started out by going to Idaho seeing the family. We went swimming in Jackson, got to see Joe and Nichole's house, played with my awesome nieces and nephew, watched a flick with Jess and Kim, we just had a good time. I am always sad to leave my fam, especially my nieces and nephews! Good thing they are coming here next week :) It was also weird saying good bye to my mom, she is heading to India for a couple weeks. She is doing a medical mission helping with delivering and saving babies. We are all excited for her and very proud of her, I just pray that everything will go smoothly and she will be safe! We will be praying for you momma! LOVE YOU..
Now I'm just chillin at home spring cleaning, my car, my house, even my dog! Yes Bella and I have had fun today, we painted our nails and I gave her a bath. She hates bathes more than anything. I had to bribe her into the tub with little hot dogs, it didn't work. So I had to lift 80lbs of dog into the bath tub. She is such a baby! Now she smells so good. I don't do well sitting home, I have to be out doing things, good thing we are heading to St. George Thursday with the Cook family. We are going to have a fun Easter down there, I just hope its warm! I hope everyone else has a great HAPPY EASTER!

Is it spring?

What's up with all the snow? I was so excited for about a week for all the wonderful weather and then BAM SNOW. It was so windy and snowy yesterday I thought our roof was going to blow off while we were at church...
We did have a good weekend though, Ty and I got to spend some time with my brother in law Brad. All we did was sit at home and watched movies, but we always get a kick out of each other.
Saturday I got a call from our good friend Rich asking permission for Tyler to go to the Jazz game. Of course I said yes, he thought it was funny that he called me first for permission :) Anyway, it was supposed to be a boys night out, but the boys couldn't fine another GUY to go with them... SO they invited me, I got the pity invite. I was still so happy to go SUNS VS Jazz. The best game, my 2 favorite teams it was fun! Other than I still cheer for the suns and the guys didn't appreciate that much. Jazz won in overtime, so I got to go home with a happy husband.
Back to this spring stuff, next week is my spring break and I was hoping to enjoy warm weather. So everyone please cross your fingers. Im sure we will end up freezing in Idaho, then warm up in St. George. I hope everyone has a fabulous week and a wonderful Easter!

This weekend was so much fun, I had the opportunity to head south with a good friend! Melissa Mckinley, her boys and I all went down to see our sisters. Her sister is going to school down there and Andrea just moved down to St. George. It was a fun trip to catch up on each others lives and I also got to know her adorable boys. Luke, even told me at one point I looked like Hannah Dontana :) Melissa, I really had so much fun, you are the cuttest best mom. Those boys kept me laughin the whole time.
I loved seeing Andrea, Brand and Logan too, Its crazy how fast I start to miss my family. Now for the highlight of the trip...... We arrived in St. George around 11:00 Friday night and then headed straight to Walmart for the Twilight Part.. HAHAHA i know i know. But I haven't seen the movie because I just barely gave into the series, which I now love. It was fun, we were laughing at ourselves.
Ty got to take Bella camping for her first time, and he figured out that she hates guns, and listens to MOM (me) much better then him. I was happy to get back to the two of them. Thanks Liss for such a fun, exciting weekend.

Tyler and I just got back from the most amazing trip to Maui. We had the opportunity to go with just my parents this year. Yes we missed the rest of the family, but it was an amazing experience to go with just them. We had a blast, the weather was beautiful, the ocean was warm, great shopping, and wonderful sun rays. My dad surprised us and took us deep sea fishing we were out on a boat in the crazy waves from 5:45 am to 3:00, it was a long fun day. I have to admit i took dramamine but was still sea sick. I was the only one who reeled anything in, but it was just a little bait fish. We spent a lot of time at the pool and on the beach. Boogie boarding was awesome this year, the waves were big and stronger this year or I'm just more of a wimp. Tyler and Dad had a lot of fun out there, mom and I did too but we couldn't last as long. Everything was just great, its crazy how amazing it is over there. Every time we go its like i've never seen the ocean before I get so excited! Oh and the whales there were whales every where. We couldn't keep track of how many we would see in just an hour. We also enjoyed the food, its hard to have a bad meal in Hawaii! We are happy to be back with Bella, she had a fun time with the in-laws. Although, we would have given anything to stay another week! Thanks mom and dad for everything it was a trip to remember...:)
